A lot of work, but worth every moment. I met some great folks and fans and artists. I was surprised and grateful how many people wanted to see my work!
I worked on the Tours for the Artists! i love this community of artists and I believe in them. Thanks to all who worked with me on this huge project.
The Events were great! The "Art of War" event featured a piece of Art I created inspired by a poem written by Ron Wood. The poem is titled " The Party". The concept was matching artist with poets to create a visual healing. There was standing room only at the "Listening Lounge" that Friday night.
Interesting how the venue used is called" Listening Lounge" and The purpose of Mil- Tree is to be a Listening Group for the Veterans and Military, coincidence, I don't think so.
Everything is in divine Order.
This year has been a bit challenging. Starting the year with joining the Arts Council, taking on the art Tours Assistant, Started Back to school ( been 17 years), something had to give, so the GYM got cancelled, I had a show at The 29 Palms Inn, The garage gallery at the Pride Festival, Booth @ The Craft Fair in Yucca Valley, Currently my work is in Oasis and the Cactus Mart. It was and is still a busy year. Finishing this semester on December 17th, I will continue next semester starting Jan 13th.
He loved to spin and chase his tail. He loved showers and rolling in the mint in the garden. He loved feta cheese. He like yoga and knew commands like" stretch" and "relax" and" downward dog". He loved to be sung to, I would sing to him "how many ways do I love you, let me count the ways" and I would list everything I loved about him and he would lay and listen intensely. So much more to say about him. He was my comfort for 8 years, the house seems empty and I miss him so. Rest in Peace My sweet baby, until we meet again...
